Full disclosure: this post is partially about showing off my Halloween decor to make it last longer since all this work basically has to be taken down in 10 days. I seriously spent the first day of fall doing on of my favorite things: decorating for a holiday/season. The keys to this perfectly therapeutic night in:
- Plug in your headphones (ideally, you aren’t married therefore can blast your music) and find a fall music playlist. You can also use the one I found worked very well: Ultimate Fall Playlist).
- Light some very fall, apple-y scented candles.
- Warm up a cup of coffee.
- GO HAM.
Now for all of you that are reading this and thinking, “I wish I had the time for that.” A) That’s insulting. I hate when people say this to me. I don’t just sit on my bum all day, people. B) Listen, I work hard, but I also make time for the things that make me happy so shuttttt itttt. It’s called work-life balance, and you people better get some or you’ll be sitting in your ugly-non-decorated-home sad all the time.
Sorry, that was very aggressive, but honestly I feel better…

That’s what I do, and I highly suggest it for those of you that also get a kick out of decor and celebrating (aka some of the best things in life).
The other, less selfish part of this post is to round up some of the cutest goodies that can be bought right from your computer. All the Halloween decor I found for you is adorable AND under $25. If you’re hosting a Halloween bash, definitely get some. If you don’t want to spend right now, I’d bookmark this and come back to it right after Halloween. Bet you could get yourself some sweet deals.
P.S. Check out last year’s Halloween decor here. Not a lot has changed.
