This post about the bathing suits you need this summer sponsored by Dresslink. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I must admit these were among my least favorite photos to shoot ha. If you have been following me for even a month, you’ll know I’m a turtleneck and oversized tops kind of girl. Anything tight and remotely in the swimwear category frightens me, but it’s summer. I like the beach and boat rides too much to shirk away from even my least favorite style of clothing.
I had to cave eventually, so this partnership with Dresslink was step one towards embracing that salt life, bro.
Bathing suit shopping can actually be easier this year, if your a trend-lover like me. Lucky for me, modest is hottest right now when it comes to swimwear. Everyone is ignoring their teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikinis and trading them for classic one pieces. It’s not a style I thought I would wear after my 10th birthday, but here we are… I’m back.
Sure, they are nearly impossible to take off and go pee in after swimming for hours, but fashion is worth the struggle.
My one pieces right now just so happen to be black and have complete coverage. Though, I have started to take a walk on the wild side with cut-outs, low-backs and tankinis. This way I can show the tiniest sliver of skin or something that has little, obvious fat (aka my upper back) and still keep the lower belly (#ProblemArea) under wraps. As with everything on my lower half of the body, I love high-waisted bottoms. There are all sorts of types that can really flatter and tuck away the parts of my body I’m less than fond with.
** Don’t be like me, and be confident. Wear whatever style you like, because you’re hot. **

Take a look at the four swimwear options I found on Dresslink, and pick one that’s right for you or just choose all of them, because they’re under $50 total!!! Yep, you read that right.
P.S. Buying bathing suits online and trying them on in the comfort of my own home… yeah, that’s the bomb.
