It’s fine. we all know I am a hardcore outfit repeater. I believe in dressing cute, but I’m not that into buying a million different pieces, because a) I don’t have the $$$ and b) I live in an apartment the size of your closet. It’s just not realistic. Instead, I love to find ways to re-wear different pieces in my wardrobe and make into entirely new looks.
These silver shoes were the perfect creative challenge for me. I fell in love with them online, asked for them for Christmas and then just stared at them as I put them next to my other shoes in the closet. I only have brown or black shoes, so these puppies stuck out. At first, I was worried that I wouldn’t be brave enough to incorporate them, but one day I just did it. I paired them with jeans, a tee and a leather jacket. I got 1000000 compliments that night and have alternated them into my wardrobe about once a week since!
Here’s the key: treat them like boring, black flats and stare into the mirror in awe as once simple outfits get transformed in to chic, fabulous looks!
I also realized this rings true for my everyday jeans, with my work clothes and with my night out dresses. To prove this truth and subtly make you want your own pair of metallic shoes, check out my “casual” and “formal” looks below. See if you agree with me about the versatility of silver shoes.

P.S. These fab shirts are both under $30, guys. The one on the left is from Make Me Chic and includes an attached fabric choker (right up my alley) and the one on the right wild the wild sleeves is from SheIn.

These beauties are from ASOS (link is the first one), and they’re comfortable and super fun. The only thing you need, if you don’t have them (somehow I don’t already) is those no show socks. Otherwise you’ll be walking around with sweaty feet like me. Too much info? NAH.
As I mentioned, on-the-go looks become brand new with a metallic pop. I love how surprising these are with jeans. Don’t I make the subway escalators look cool right here?! Lol.
I know I’ve been in a relationship for like ever, but I’m 100% positive that silver shoes could only be a positive on a date night. I think pairing them with different textures (like this velvet dress and linen shirt) is an exciting match. I also think letting your legs out turns them into arrows pointing to your awesome shoes.
