This post about how time flies when you’re a city girl was sponsored by Christian Paul. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I do not understand how it’s already March. I cannot believe that winter is almost over or how fast life is moving. I’m nearly 25 (no big deal, but also half way to 50, so kind of a big deal). I’ve been married for over a year. I’ve had a “real job” for 2 years. Depending on how life goes, I may be over halfway through my time in New York… it’s all freaking me out right now.
I don’t know why March is doing this to me, but I have decided that what makes life fly by for me is being an adult (working, paying bills, etc.=lame) AND living in a huge city that I’m constantly trying to get the most out of (exploring, eating, etc.=awesome).
Part of living in NYC for us is getting to try to get everything we can out of it… from cultural food options to taking trips just outside of it. For me, it’s also about soaking up the career-oriented passion that’s everywhere and information that’s available to me about my future blogging career.
I thought it might be fun to share with you guys how a typical month goes in my life. I really don’t know why you’ll care, but it was kind of cathartic to put it all down and realize that life flew by because I lived it the fullest in my favorite city. Sure I spent evenings on the couch and didn’t go to the gym as much as I had expected, but for the most part, I was straight up enjoying what NYC had to offer (and the amazing company it holds).
It was comforting for me to remember that and realize that though I’m growing up and quickly leaving behind the carefree nature of my early 20’s, I’m still making a point to cherish the things and people that matter and that’s something to be proud of and to constantly circle back to.
Here’s to soaking up life (wherever you live) and remembering that there’s nothing scary about living life so fully that time just ends up speeding by.

Speaking of time… check out this grid watch + marble/rose gold bracelet combo from Christian Paul. I’m super into this simple arm party combo and have found that it’s a great way to balance out the fact that I rarely accessorize elsewhere and tend to wear clothes with few patterns (outside of lines and plaid). This pairing pulls my typical simple outfits together.
