This post about winter florals is sponsored in part by The Style Theory Collective. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
You all know I have an all-black-outfit problem. I have a hard time switching it up, but when I find pieces that colorful without being too outlandish and have a slight feminine vibe then I try it out… with ample black accents.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate color in the winter is with florals. I love the contrast of a very dreary and flower-less season being brightened up by a fun floral print. That being said, I still don’t jump to yellows and pinks. Instead I make sure my floral pieces have darker tones and even layer them to tone down the effect.
This Moon River Aspen Floral Midi Dress from The Style Theory Collective is seriously my new favorite dress. It’s perfect for everything from bridal showers to date nights this winter PLUS can easily be transitioned to spring without the layers.
